Originally from just north of Detroit, I have spent time on both coasts and a short time in the mid-south. My teaching career begin while working on my Master’s Degree in Biology at Western Kentucky University. While studying the ultrastructure of dermal chromatophores I worked with undergraduate students in their introductory biology lab class. A short time after receiving my graduate degree I working in a Phoenix-area high school for two years. Finally, I landed in for a three year stint in Washington, DC teaching Biology and AP Biology.
Now, my family and I have made our way to Cincinnati. I feel incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to share my passion and excitement about science and biology with the students of Oak Hills High School.
